Ari Lennox

Courtney Shanade Salter, aka Ari Lennox, was born in Washington, D.C. on the 26th of March on the 26th of March, 1991. She is an American artist and songwriter, as well as the first artist to be signed by J. Cole to his record label Dreamville Records. Her first EP, Pho on October 21 2016, was released on Dreamville Records. Her career began to grow in fame. Shea Butter Baby her debut studio release was May 7th 2019. Ari Lennox began uploading her music on the internet in 2012, when she released her first mixtape Five Finger Discount, and her debut EP Ariography in 2013. Ari Lennox continued to upload her songs online throughout 2014 and released her own single Bound. On 21st of July 2015. Omen featured her on Elephant Eyes song"Sweat it Out.. In the following year, her music was circulating throughout the Dreamville team as J. Cole wanted her to work with him on some possible references for Rihanna. The official signing ceremony was held with Dreamville Records on 8 December. Backseat, a track she recorded with Cozz in the Revenge of the Dreamers II collaboration album. In October of 2016 the singer-songwriter released her debut EP, Pho. Ari Lennox appeared in J. Cole's Change track and also opened her own tour, the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour 2017. In 2018, Ari Lennox performed on two tracks with EarthGang On Nothing but the Best, as well as Bas On Icarus. Ari Lennox, on the 16th of July in 2018 was the first artist to release her single "Whipped Cream" from Shea Butter Baby. The music video to accompany it was also released on September 5th. Then, in November, she released her singles forty Shades of Choke & Grampa. Two singles more were released by her on November 13 Pedigree and No One. She was featured with Cole in her Creed II Soundtrack on Shea Butter Baby On November 16, and then released the song as a solo single for her first album. A music video was released on 20 February 2019 to go along with the track. Within one time, it was viewed more than 3 million views. She supported the 6LACK's From East Atlanta With Love Tour during December 2018.
